Hi, I’m Joel. My background is in traditional music, composition, and studio production—but at heart, I just love making any music that lights me up with people who feel the same. That simple pursuit has taken me around the world—mixing broadcasts in Bulgaria, opening for artists like John Mayer and Neil Young, teaching my music internationally, and even starting my own instrument-building company.

       I’ve always felt a bit out-of-sync with being human, which might be why I’m drawn to acoustic instruments and shaping natural materials into unnatural sounds. I hope to keep sharing music, curiosity, and connection with new friends of all ages—and to keep discovering more about each other through the act of music making.
